Starting the trial
No sales call in the way, and nothing to import before you can see anything.
Create the workspace
Ninety days of the full product, no card. You name the portfolio and you are in.
Add the first asset
Pick the class (marine, aviation, automotive or property), then fill in the operating details: home base, current location, identifiers, assigned lead.
Confirm the setup checklist
Meridian proposes the recurring work for that class, such as insurance renewal, registration renewal and the annual service, with intervals already set. Uncheck what does not apply, adjust what does.
The board is already populated
Each item you kept becomes a scheduled operation or a maintenance record, so the asset arrives with its renewal and service cadence in place rather than an empty list. From there the dashboard shows what is due, what is blocked and who owns it.
Questions
- How does billing work?
- Annual upfront, on every tier. Billing is in AUD today, including for New Zealand accounts; NZD billing is on the way. Fleet can run on multi-year agreements.
- Can we try it before committing?
- Every new account starts a 90-day free trial of the full product, no card required. An operations system only proves itself once real assets, crew and work orders are loaded, so the trial is long enough to actually run the portfolio through it. Trials cover up to four assets; tell us if your portfolio is larger and we will open it up.
- What counts as an asset?
- A managed operation: a vessel, an aircraft, a property, or a vehicle collection. A garage of any size counts as one asset, and tenders or toys ride with their parent asset.
- Is anything metered?
- No. There are no per-user, per-vendor or per-document charges, and no feature gates between tiers. The only thing that changes with size is the portfolio itself.
- Do you take a percentage of vendor work?
- Never. Meridian earns from membership and listing fees only. No commission, no markup, no per-order charge: what a vendor quotes is what the vendor is paid.
